Paediatric Cardiology

A girl with blonde hair looking at a pink teddy bear on a white shelf, with a decorative rainbow and artwork of flowers and design on the wall behind. The scene is bright and cozy, with natural light.

Our paediatric cardiologist works closely with young people and their families to diagnose, monitor and manage a wide range of congenital and acquired heart conditions, including disorders affecting the structure, function and rhythm of the heart.

We see children and young people with concerns that may be related to the heart, such as those listed.

Our paediatric cardiologist undertakes a thorough assessment, including detailed history taking, physical examination, and investigations such as electrocardiography (ECG) and echocardiography (cardiac ultrasound).

Results are discussed during the same visit, allowing access to timely diagnosis, counselling and a family-centred discussion about management and follow-up options.
