Community & Developmental Paediatrics
General and Community Paediatrics covers a broad range of conditions, complex care management and developmental disabilities.
Community Paediatrics is commonly referred to as developmental and behavioural paediatrics.
A community child health specialist is a paediatrician who has recognised experience and training in diagnosing and treating children with neurodevelopmental concerns.
Developmental and behavioural conditions can include (but are not limited to) developmental delay, ADHD, autism, learning disorders and mood disruption.
We also have staff with specific skills and professional interest in early diagnosis of physical developmental disability.
We work closely with colleagues and other specialists to coordinate high-quality care that is holistic and patient-focused.
